A PlayStation Experience 2017 ocorreu entre os dias 9 e 10 de dezembro no Anaheim Convention Center, em Anaheim, California. Sem dúvida o maior destaque do evento, em minha opinião, ficou por conta de Death Stranding, com um enorme trailer apresentando mais detalhes do jogo e criando discussões a seu respeito, ou seja, já está preparando terreno para quando for lançado.
Houve outros destaques, pontuo The Last of Us Part II e Ghost of Tsushima, novo game dos desenvolvedores de Infamous, as remasterizações de Shadow of the Colossus, LocoRoco 2 e MediEvil e surpreendentemente não houve um destaque maior a God of War, de informação relevante que foi divulgada, segundo o Gematsu, Gory Barlog, diretor do título, disse que o game terá em torno de 25 a 30 horas de gameplay.
Diversos jogos independentes foram anunciados tanto para PlayStation 4 quanto para PlayStation VR. O game 2064: Read Only Memories que havia sido cancelado para PlayStation Vita, voltou a dar as caras, aliás, foi a única menção ao portátil da Sony. O game inspirado em Mega Man, 20XX sairá no próximo ano, assim como Horizon Chase Turbo, da desenvolvedora brasileira Aquiris, mostrando todo o glamour dos jogos de corridas dos anos 1990.
Interessante notar o número de títulos para o PlayStation VR, mostrando que a Sony acredita veementemente no sucesso do add-on.
